@chifour66 Stupid comment. You forgot your brain near the copy machine.

Hey, Oliver Stone, you lying piece of human detrious, Lorena Bobbitt, OJ, and half the things you are referencing hadn't even occurred yet in 1992. You can tell when you are watching this movie where the good Tarantino parts are and the shitty Stone parts. No wonder Tarantino wants no part of it.

@townsjim Well it took 11 months to edit, so maybe he shot the movie a couple years before it was released.

Great interview
Listen to what this guy says and then think of Inglorious Basterds, among other Tarantino films, and you will find an explanation for Tarantino's frustration with what Stone did with his screenplay...these 2 people have very different views on life and filmmaking...Stone is an adult who thinks and feels and asks questions, while Tarantino is a teenager exploring his fantasies...a matter of taste perhaps what you prefer but I'm no longer a teenager so.....

As Oliver Stone points out, Tarantino took the money for that script... And he was very critical of a movie that he had not seen!
"NBK" is technically brilliant but much too violent for the audience to digest. The controversy over Stone's goal, however, was ludicrous. He did not glorify violence, he condemned it as well as the exploitation of violence by the media, especially TV. Life does not imitate art, it's the other way round!
