MAN I really must say this is a thing of Beauty. That paint job really is to die for. But I heard when you remove the top & the door pillars you weaken the body of the car for which the results might be disasterous! Have you ever heard this? Have you taken steps to strenghthen the body to avoid things like body sag or cracking?? I want to turn my Jetta into a convertible but I'm afraid to drive it on the freeway?? Would you have any advice?? How's your's holding up. Thx. Sincerely, JAMES.

@slyhitman214 ACTUALLY THE CLUB THAT BUILT IT BOUGHT IT NEW IN 94 AND FIXED IT UP. WHEN I GOT IT / IT ONLY HAD 43000 MILES. I GOT RID OF IT BECAUSE IT WASNT MY PROJECT.
