Microsoft and five production houses are creating seven short films called Halo Legends.
The five production houses are some of the biggest names in the industry - Bones, Casio Entertainment, Production I.G., Studio4 C, and Toei Animation.
The creative director overseeing the production is Shinji Aramaki, director of Appleseed and Appleseed Ex Machina. Microsoft has also roped in Warner Bros. to distribute Halo Legends on DVD and via digital platforms early next year.

Oh yes, how DARE they try and actually get money and recognision for their work on this, thereby ensuring that such works can continue in the future. Surely the moderators should go to hell for removing copyrighted videos from youtube, forcing people to buy the DVDs instead of watching it for free. Damn them to hell indeed, mr snoopy.
