Iwatayama Monkey Mountain Park , Arashiyama Kyoto, Japan

This is a photo slide show with a few videos thrown in to the mix of my trip to Monkey Mountain in August of 2007. I want to let viewers know that the short video of one of the monkeys charging me, I did not get bit. Even though the video makes it seem like I was right next to the monkeys, I was in fact a good three to five feet away. These monkeys will bite if you get too close to them, but if a safe distance is kept there isn't much to be worried about.
