The first opponent for the Dawgs in their 2005 campaign was Boise State, a team riding the nation's longest regular season winning streak. DJ Shockley and the Dawgs took care of business, forcing 6 turnovers on Boise's Jared Zabransky (who -I might add- couldn't handle the Georgia heat) in the first half to jump to a 24-0 lead. Georgia never looked back, and cruised to a 48-13 smackdown in Athens.

@HokiesAndDawgs Nah...Hawkins did great at Boise himself without the scandals, and no all I did was make a statement that Boise might lose 1-2 games without Kellen Moore the next few years then you go off calling me an idiot for it. I think it's pretty obvious he's their team this year and they're definitely going to be missing him and others when they lose 16 starters after this season. It's common sense that Boise will decline a bit after this season.
