Dragonball Evolution Movie is a live action adventure and centers on the heroic Goku, a powerful warrior who discovers his inner strength and protects the Earth from an evil rogue bent on dominating the Universe and controlling the mystical objects from which the film takes its name.
It is an adaptation of the original Dragonball stories by Akira Toriyama, which also spawned the cult animated TV series.
Upon the death of his grandfather, and abiding by his dying wish, young Goku (Chatwin) sets out to find the great Master Roshi (Chow Yun-Fat) and gather all seven Dragon Balls - of which he has one - in order to prevent evil Piccolo gathering them, and using them for evil.
