Well, if being a vampire lizard or a werewolf lizard is silly, but you still want to be one, be a vampire. You get fangs! I have one werewolf, level 21, (Argonian) and a level 2 Argonian vampire.

If you don't want to contract vampirism, try crafting a potion of Cure Disease with Alchemy before going after the two vampires. If you contract it, take it before the 3 day waiting period to full vampirism kicks in, and there's no need to worry.
