When will they just arrest that guy for war crimes already.

You cannot be blown off course by such trivial things as the will of the people.

Obama and the Democrats always want high popularity ratings and base their actions on that. That's why they can't shove health care down the throats of the Republicans right now.

When Cheney is told that people don't like the war, he just says "so?".
Republicans just did what they said they were going to do.
They didn't care about popularity ratings.

The simple truth is, Cheney is a thoroughly unlikeable man. And he clearly does not care at all that he is disliked. Note that even on Inauguration day as he was greeted with a chorus of boos, he still sat wearing that smug, self satisfied looking smile.
