love the drum sound on the slim shady ep, its a big step up from the sludgey production of infinate both have their own good and bad points, just like each eminem album has its good and bad points, each is a product of its time and what mathers was going through at the time.
i love the first 2 records this and infinate cause you can hear that hes really going for it on every track he really wants a deal and you can hear it in his style, hes just finding and refining his sound.

@BB13131313 true. MMLP is the beasttt. he had soo much lyrical skill. also, infinite and biterphobia are just awesome. hit me up.

MMLP is his best album. SSLP and TES are classic. Encore has classic material, but overall was a big falloff. Relapse was ok, I was just happy to see him back. Recovery is very very good. MMLP, SSLP, TES are on a whole other level.

@MidNightT0k3r SSEP came out before he was even famous. Dre liked the EP so much him and EM decided to use some of the tracks from it on the SSLP. So yeah, some of the songs from the EP WERE on the LP. (97 Bonnie & Clyde (Just The Two Of Us), If I Had, and Just Don't Give A Fuck)

there isnt any single best album...they all are

The slim shady EP is kinda like SSLP 1 or 2, EP meens "Extended play" i like too think of both of them as the same album, back in the day if CD's could hold more space, im sure em, would have put some of these songs off the EP on the SSLP, ever notice that his skits on SSLP are only seconds long? you dig?
old songs new songs
all songs r great
