Yalta (Ukrainian: YAlta, Russian: YAlta, Crimean Tatar: Yalta) is a city in Crimea, southern Ukraine, on the north coast of the Black Sea. The city is located on the site of an ancient Greek colony, said to have been founded by Greek sailors who were looking for a safe shore (gialo*s - yalos in Greek) on which to land. It is situated on a shallow bay facing south towards the Black Sea, surrounded by wooded mountains. It enjoys a warm Mediterranean climate with many vineyards and orchards in the vicinity.
TheAleksandrGr,
Thank you for posting this, I smiled the whole way through.
It brought back fond memories of my trip to Yalta in May of 2010.

I don't think they know what a wave in a bath tub looks like! try down here in South Australia Or Victoria at Bells beach we've got waves that would make that boat /canoe jetty thing look small!
