Its not far from reality at all...In fact I'm experiencing it right now on a project I'm working on. So painful

Lalo is right, get his comment up there so everyone can see it and doesn't waste 4 minutes of their lives. Developer on a video probably had 20 of those "requests" that morning otherwise he would've just helped. No matter which process you incorporate - keeping developers from constant context switching is the best thing you can do for productivity.

I'm with Lalo on this one. There is a product owner, not a product manager. He does determine the priority. However, the product owner is the customer. Also, anyone can put in issues, including developers. In this scenario, I'm assuming it is the customer asking for a fix. They would probably prioritize the spelling mistake as a high priority.

That while loop took three and a half minutes to be called.

This borders on idiocy. There isn't even such a thing as a “product manager” in Scrum. Sorry, this was written by someone who doesn't have a clue, and worse, it actually illustrates (like Nphyx has comment) why Scrum is a good thing — when everyone can come to the developers and ask for “just a spelling fix on one button”, no real work ever gets done.
