The Challenge: swim to Egg Rock, two or so miles off the coast of Nahant. Attempt one failed during a night swim. Unexpected warm currents freaked us out. Further research has found that there are much better deployment spots than Long Beach north of "Little Nahant." Second attempt may be easier if deployed south from Nahant mainland. UPDATE: Google Earth reveals vegetation on the "rock." There is hope to sustain life! (-: (or at least a fire to warm up after the swim!!!) Let's bring waterproof matches!
