That is exactly how we used to do it, when we had tanks in our place. Works good and fish are kept safe. Looking forward to seeing the next step.

Very entertaining and informative. If you have a seperate heater then you have to remember to move it lower down under the new lower water level before you drain it off. I forgot to do that and it cracked the heater tube!

Oooo thats good to know, i dont actually have any fish but you know just incase i ever do i now know how to move the tank if i want to decorate :oD

Even though this doesn't really apply to me, I'm finding this series very interesting.
I'm going to send it to my Dad :) he likes DIY and he'll find it interesting anyway.
