Vodafone Australia Coverage / Reception = Fail

23rd August 2011, My 3 broadband (3 is taken over by vodafone) at 11:48pm simply didnt work. I had reception as you can see but it simply wouldnt load.
My mobile phone (HTC Desire HD), in my entire house i have reception in 2 rooms, of which just 1 bar of "E" reception. When i get 3G as seen, there is no reception bars and the internet on it is non existent.

Just a public service announcement to the potential new customers, dont believe their "coverage check" they perform in store. Of course your area will have "reception", just to sign you on. If you really want vodafone, do prepaid for a month or so and see what you get in terms of coverage.

Im stuck with this rubbish for the next 23 months.

Vodafone, as per their website, doesnt have work lined up for a new antenna until June 2012 in my area. What am i meant to do in the mean time!!!!!!

- I have had a 5week delay in a sms message
- My calls drop out constantly
- Friends simply cant get through to calling me
- International sms's with multiple pages arnt sent, just 1 page is sent of your long message
- Call center talks you around in circles, and dont return calls when they say they will
- They dont have technicians in your area to assess your actual problems when you say "i invite you to come to my house and see the reception your providing me"

it could be an idea to contact Vodafone Australia's Web relation team you'll find the problem fixed quickly and have money back for the inconvenience, especially if they deal with stuff the same as in the uk

don't pay your bill, churn your number to telstra and tell VodaFRAUD to fuck themselves. They are a useless bunch of pricks, they know most people pay their bills on-time or close to it, so dont expect much of a change....
