im a tkd fighter. and if he was indeed a wft then he was most likly the sport version of taekwondo. instead of street style which is mudikwon . which would be much more suitable opponent for an mma. now sport taekwondo isnt bad but they dont train specifically for the street fights.

I agree with imreadydoctor, thats what was goin thru my mind as i watched this I have a 2nd dan blackbelt in wtf tkd and what I saw in this fight was fear in the tkd practitioners movements. He wasn't confident and the mma fighter fed off of his unsure fearful movements. This was a terrible display of the deadly art Taekwondo.

I have my 1st dan in WTF TKD, and this is exactly what I hate about almost every tkd fighter I see on youtube, they fight as they would in a sparring match, keeping their kicks way too high, and ignoring their hands completely! I'm by no means the best tkd-fighter, but i was fortunate enough to find a good school. These ppl need to adapt, leg-kicks and punches win the striker game, using high kicks as a supplement, not as a base. TKD can be dangerous, but only when it isn't predictable.

WHY ON EVERY VIDEO IT WTF ( world taekwondo federation, they use only kicks ) AND NOT ITF ( international taekwondo federation , they use all taekwondo technics ) , HATE IT

Bravo MMA... mma greatest, seccond is wrestling, judo ,Jiu Jitsu after is kick boxing and boxing. ( wing tsun, karate, taekwondo, aikido for women and these are absurd )

This video is such BS why is it people think that Tkd fighting is like this ? Only in competition do you fight like that because of the rules in a mma fight rules are different and should use all your skills
