Yes, I agree that humanity was forged from many bloody battles and events. Though we can not completely eradicate this, we can still strive for peace on earth. Through mindful action and compassion, I think that we can put aside our differences and create a future that we can be proud of. I want people to understand that its not "your" or "my" religion, its our religion. One as old as time. One that is effortless, natural, and pure. Of love, peace, compassion, and one-ness.

both christians had their fair share of violence. The Crusade, Poso genocide, and a lot more. But i still don't get it though, why would they want to eradicate each other when they've been praising the same god all along? what difference does it make if they bow while they talk to god and we kneel while we do?

in sri lanka, the civil war is fueled by ethnicity, and culture rather then religion because on the both sides people have different religions.

interesting... i hope you has a degree of sucess. putting a human face to your opponent makes it so much harder to hate him.. so grat first step.. now if you where all bright enough to relise that all religion is evil, and learn to love each other just because all humans have value, without the cloak of religion... then you would be truly progressing! love chuck e.
