I had to change my kitchen drawer rails, so I asked a contractor for a quote. His quote was ridiculous. So I wanted try doing it myself. However I was not able to find a video clip on how to replace drawer rails.
My suggested that I should do a step by step video clip, which might help others, should there be a need. I was able to do the replacement with a newer rail which can take up to 30kg. I have done it with simple tools. The main difficulty was getting the drawer installed leveled. So I used the old rails as a guide with a spacer ( 10mm marble slab) and the level gauge. After replacing the first set, I will be doing the rest of the 8 drawers in my kitchen myself. Its not all that difficult. Hope this video clip is helpful, if you looking to do the same thing.
How did you know exactly where to put the rails on the drawer? You didn't show how you did that did you? That seems like an important step? And I just changed one drawer rail in my kitchen and it took all day! Different cabinet design inside made it lots more difficult.

I did show the positioning. I used the white spacer which is 1cm thick on both side. this puts the new rail 1cm above the old rail, thats good positioning. I used the level gauge too to confirm that both sides are leveled. Watch it again, you will see. All the steps are important.
It took me about 4 hours to do all the 9 rails in my kitchen alone without many tools.
