A bit of advice re thes as there till floating around
If you plan to DMX these you cant use dip 10 to invert them -you can with a CA8 hand held but NOT in DMX mode -so worth investigating b4 you get your DMX board and are sadly dimayed that it tkes alot to creat a light show & you cant invert them
-
If you get 2 of these I recommend you get the CA 8 mini controller -at least that will give you function over , on , of f, gobo , strobe , and light show - I'm on to dmx and it is pretty time consuming , and a lot to learn ! dmx is proffesional stuff-needs dedication

Prom is overrated!

hello there, i have just bought 2 of these lights =D ... i want to link them, do you need a controller if i wanted to link them through sound activated or can i just do so by using the dmx lead connections?
are they the 100w or the 250w version?

Just wondering ... (great videos by the way) .... is it possible to make the lights white and set for a period of time, (i'll be djing a prom, and they will announce king & queen, and i'd like to have the lights on the floor still) .... is that possible?
is there any otherway to customize the shows besides auto?

Then you will have to buy a DMX controller and program everything manually by yourself. I have not tried it myself because I don't need it when I play at parties (don't have time to program the lights when I'm selecting music).. But I think you can do almost everything with a DMX controller!

what are you using to control the lights.

like i wrote in the info: they're running on sound activity, in other words I do nothing with the control.
