I remember (fuzzily) about 8 of cruising downtown Mooresville, NC in a red and white pinto, Cheech & Chong smoked out in the car, with this song jamming out the windows! Good Times!

As a little kid, I used to think he was singing about Lieutenant Ilea from Star Trek: The Motion Picture.

The song and the movie came out close enough together...I can see why it would confuse a 6 year old. :D
