  • what do you do when a man gives you intense stares? and what does this mean, btw he does it alot!! =)

  • Well, if it's someone who you don't know, he is clearly interested but is too shy or can't quite find the right words to approach you. You can help by smiling, acknowledging his staring or even saying "How is it going?" casually.

  • Of course staring is so disrespectful...my advice-Learn to love yourself the way you are and no other woman will be a threat in any way! As soon as you see your own beauty and as a person full of worth, it does not matter were he looks ;-)

  • Good point. Looking isn't cheating or doing anything else hurtful. We are surrouned by attractive people on the streets, on TV, magazines, etc.... so it shouldn't be a big deal.

  • i don't agree with the advice, no offense. a woman should not have to pretend she tolerates this behavior so that she can appear confident. the behavior is sexist: staring at women and rating their beauty, while you are out on a date? she should simply find a man that doesn't do it.

  • Good point. Surely bluntly staring is inappropriate and offensive, but an instinctive glance that EVERY healthy, heterosexual guy will inevitably give to an attractive female passer by shouldn't be a reason for an argument or a fight.

  • Thanxs for your help i'll try it!! =D

  • I beg to differ. "Patriarchal order" - and by this I don't mean discriminating women or not giving equal opportunity, but rather retaining elements of traditional roles has been around for thousands of years, and seems to have lead to stronger familial and relationship ties than the new, modern, often ultra-feminist trend in the West, but that's my subjective observation.

I do believe that checking out women is something that do naturally or something that they need to consciously resist.

  • Good point.

  • Yeah possibly because people in these times are constantly seeking for something to fullfill ther deepest desires...they do not see that they have to look withing to find the love, the praise, the trust..ect. ;-)
