my point was that if you wanted a new R8 V8 or a new M6 (when it was on sale) the prices were similar. i see where you're coming from, of course, but if you were looking to buy an R8 or an M6 and had 90k to blow, you'd have to choose between the V8 R8 and the V10 M6. what you're saying is (taken a bit OTT here) is something like a DB9 shouldn't be compared to an M6 (despite similar-ish prices, and market purpose) because it has a V12 and should be compared to a murcielago.

@TheE21ross price means nothing if you talk about drag races. so that's not a reason to compare this cars. the m3 cost more than 70k € and you can get a m6 less than 40k €. you see the difference? r8 v8 (430ps)/ bmw m3 v8 (420ps), r8 v10(525ps) / m6 v10 (507ps) btw at the other vid I've posted the m6 is not stock. it's from asr with 750ps and still lost against the r8. m6 is an old engine. just wait for the new m6 f12.

compare m3 v8 with r8 v8 and m6 v10 with r8 v10. I like bmw too, but fact is the r8 v10 destroys the m6 and shit about g-power. underground racing r8 with 1500 whp would not destroy the m6 it would eliminate the m6. farewell
