D.I.Y: How to Make Your Own Holographic Nail Polish

Hey lovelies, today I'll be showing you how to make your own holographic nail polish! I am so excited for this video because I absolutely LOVE shiny, sparkly holographic things, and I hope you'll like this video too or find it helpful :) Holographic nails are not only really unique looking, but they are so glamorous and fabulous!
This is really easy, quick and simple to do, and I like this idea because you can use ANY nail polish or nail color that you have and make it HOLOgraphic! woohoo! :D
*What you can also do is mix the holo pigment with a clear nail polish, then paint it over your manicure to give it a holographic finish!

*Also if you have a favorite nail polish color, just put the pigment straight into the nail polish bottle, shake it up, and you'll have a whole bottle of holographic nail polish! (One gram of spectra pigment is good for multiple bottles of polish)

Things you'll need:
*If you're going to just put the pigment straight into the nail polish bottle, you will only need your nail polish, the pigment, and something to scoop the pigment with.
- Spectra/ Holographic Pigment
- Any nail polish of your choice *What you can also do is mix the holo pigment with a clear nail polish, then paint it over your manicure to give it a holographic finish
- an orange stick, or anything to scoop the pigment with
- a toothpick or orange stick to mix
- a bottle cap or disposable container to hold the polish and pigment

Why not just add the holographic powder to a clear nail polish? Then you can try it with every shade on earth. And you won't have to keep mixing it in small batches either!

@beenask great idea! :) both methods create a different effect, as mixing the holo powder directly in the polish gives it a more silverish tint

@wendy123ballet thanks! no the other bags of pigment weren't holographic, they were more like colored shimmers to give your polishes a shimmer effect, but still really cool!
