The Pike Syndrome provides a useful reminder of the harm unchecked assumptions can cause between people in conflict - to resolve any conflict it's worth spending time exploring all such assumptions as they arise.

I know a few people with this syndrome. The problem is they are about as bright as a Pike. Maybe one in a hundred will have the sense to make the change. (I wonder if I've got it)?
