About 2 weeks ago I left my guitar with a luthier to fix some problems. Some of the frets were very worn and the action on the strings was very high.

For a week I was without this guitar and I think I was mildly suicidal not being able to play it (joking!)

I've had it back for about a week and I've been playing the sH1+ out of it.

I was meaning to do a new video of my acoustic for a while and I was practising some songs and trying to learn lyrics, and in the end because I'm absolutely hopeless at remembering lyrics and I'm rubbish at singing, I just played all the songs in a medley.

I guess it'll be kinda fun if you YouTubers just guess the songs rather than me just type them all out here! I would think they are quite recognisable pop-rock British-US hits so they aren't that hard to guess.

This vid should be long enough for those of you who have been saying my vids aren't long enough... I almost went over 10 mins :-\

*EDIT* Bryan Adams is Canadian isn't he??
*EDIT2* Corrs are Irish, duh!

*EDIT* 30 Dec 2007

  • Loved it , byt where do you get all the music for these peices?

  • most of it is learned by ear; listening to the original recordings and trial and error - and if i get really stuck, Google the tabs!

  • hey, can u just teach us how to strum everybody hurts

  • there are probably better vids than mine that will teach you how to play, it's a simple chord progression really, not too difficult, the tricky bit is to pick out individual notes

  • this is niice, but just a tip, for a medley try makin it shorter =D a long vid with different songs might be too long

but other than that, clean cover on songs (Y)

  • thank you, i'll bear that in mind, but i kinda like playing a verse and a chorus on each song

and if you watched it all the way to the end, you didn't care anyway

  • 5 stars for this excellent medley!

  • lol, well good effort, either way i'm impressed, hats off.

  • I personally use a Jim Dunlop nylon 0.88mm; it's hard enough to play loud but not too thick to be too difficult to pick out individual notes

but this is just personal preference, i would suggest you try out different picks and use what you find comfortable

  • thank you
