hi

How long will it take to restore my vision
-
you're very creative and imaginative with these explanations

@jbonna Keep closing your eyes. Imagine how it would look if the string crossed at the bead. Be relaxed. Also, try tipping your head from side to side as you look at the bead - it may be that you're tilting your head without realising. And reach out to touch the bead, make it bounce on the string.

I have a slight virtical deviation in my eyes. So when I look at the brock string I can see two strings but also two beads and one string 'points' higher than the other. (So I see two beads but one is higher than the other) Also the strings cross before the bead im focusing on. Any tips on how I can get my eyes looking at the same point at the same time?

When I go on holidays i am going to get a pair of ordinary subglasses without prescription, with a very subtle shade so it is like having glasses not sunglasses, i hate things going in my eyes, that is why i like wearing them, eye protection.
Please explain what's the purpose of doing this exercise. Thanks.

@MogieFox First, it shows you if you are converging and fusing properly and getting equally strong images from each eye. If you are not, it's a way to practise strengthening your convergence and fusion and possibly improve 'lazy eye' .

What can you do when you go on holidays for two weeks away from a computer?

Relax and look at the horizon a lot! Seriously. You can do all the Bates techniques on holiday. Why not?
