I had quit this years ago due to knee pain. Then I started taking some supplements, fish oil, SAMe, A joint drink (Elations) and L-Carnitine (amino acid, 2 grams per day). The recovery was amazing. No more pain in the knees, and I have started working my legs again in the gym. It took about 6 months of taking these supplements before I was ready to try this. There is still hope, for all us older guys.
