I adore kate and I love this song - Having said that, I'm left wondering where the lyrics mentioned in the title are, I don't see them - sorry if this comes across negatively, didn't know how else to word it.

Because Annie is the daughter, not a lover and they aren't real animals but toys (apart from possibly the horse)

I no this cause the cow flies away and kids do actually say that sought of thing :) my sister said that 'the puppy dog grew real legs and ran away'

@dogstar75 I think what piratedress (and myself for that matter) would like to know is why is the song called "Awkward Annie", when the words "awkward annie" don't appear in the song. This Annie doesn't seem to be very awkward, more like sadistic.

Never the less, I adore this song, and I thank you very much for posting it.
