@VideoSk8Rs34 PS3 and PS3 Media Server is 100% fine though if you connect a PC to the PS3 with one of those crossover ethernet cables. That way you have a wired connection instead of wireless.
@VideoSk8Rs34 It depends. What types of movies are you streaming? If it's non-Apple movies, PS3 is better since you can just use PS3 Media Server and stream. But where you run into problems is with the high-definition stuff since PS3 only has a G-Router in it, whereas Apple TV 2 has an N-Router in it (N is better).
All I want to know is: if I plug my external hard drive into my Mac Pro, and that then the Mac into the HDMI of the little Apple TV box thing, will it read on my tv screen just like it is on the mac screen and let me access all my downloads?
