Mischief and Mayhem with the amazing Mikrokopter Hexa XL

Watch Part 2 Here!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GZuzlfomr30

This is how RobscoRC reviews household items, by seeing how durable it is from a 600ft drop! These chairs, VCR, and Toaster Oven never saw it coming.. They sure made a good crunching noise though!

This heli unit is provided once again by NuvAero. The best name in Ready to Fly ariel photography rigs. Go to there website for more information.

The Drop Mechanism:
It was simple, a hole cut in the carbon fibre battery tray large enough for a large zap strap piece to fit through. A hole cut in the zap strap then the strap attached to the red strap. The battery tray holds a very strong servo with a metal pin, then pin goes through the hole of the zap strap and rests agains a nylon shim on the battery tray.. Flick the switch and the pin is pulled by the servo, strap falls free!

  • @thydusk666 wow... ok I hope your being sarcastic.. longer cord increases swing which reduces stability, we tested that fact. higher?? The VCR fell from close to 600ft and hit the ground at over 230KM/H... and we were the only two people there.. Please tell me your being sarcastic! PLEASE be sarcastic!!

  • i hate chairs to

  • @RobscoRC how did you release the objects i've been researching air rc vehicles and how i could optimise their usage around my place. it would be soo nice never to have to herd goats again just use an rc helicopter fitted with a 100 yard range camera and possibly water balloons for when they go after the roses

  • @RobscoRC kind of like a Nokia

  • Where is the black box,.

  • How long can your quad satay up in the air?

  • Crazy ;-)

  • More like Epicopter :D

  • @seniorortega haha the chairs were in my basement.. I think they belonged to a room mate that had long since moved out.. They were from Ikea. Stress tested them because we care about the safety of everyone.. Based on the tests, the metal one is a bit more sturdy.
