    You can use keepvid (the first hit when you google "download youtube videos") to download the video. That's what i used to get the (obviously) un-subtitled video.

    same reaction when i first learnt topology, same with connected and path-connected sets, with that weird set who is connected but not path-connected. The name of these terms are first given intuitively, before mathematicians, realized that some notions may be more complicated then they expected. same about the notion of continuity of a function that has no derivative at any point...
