@Raquelamithra: yes they would be. Better safe than sorry. And secondly, while I don't doubt that there may have been some serious injuries sustained here it may just as easily have been minor. I have played dangerous and intense sports, like others, and I have and have seen players walk away from much worse.

I agree with Hawaii. You don't know what happened. If I fell to judge I would just been bruised a bit. It's not that bad. It's your instinct to go and HELP someone just in case their not ok.
But she must have been ok cause that really couldn't do much damage if he really meant to throw her on the floor. Just falling from that height she is just mostly bruised.

@hawaiidkw Well, the worst of injuries are the invisable ones. The internal that we can't see without x ray. So it was probably worse than what they could figure out. But only the doctors at hospital could say what was wrong.

I'm kind of confused, she doesn't appear to have hit her head, but she is very motionless.

For me, the *really* terrifying part was that I can't even see what went wrong. It looked perfectly fine, and then Petukhov just plain lost the handle.
The edge of control. And unlike auto racing, it's not just hitting the wall that's the danger.
And while it MIGHT not have been that serious, I have no interest in ever learning firsthand, thank you very much.

probably broken ribs and lots of severe bruising inside her stomach. If it weren't serious...PARAMEDICS wouldn't be out there!
