This version of "Two Hearts Beat As One" was the B-side of "I Will Follow (Live)" on the US 7" which was released to promote "Under A Blood Red Sky". It's simply labeled as 'EDIT' on the 45. This is also more commonly known as the IMPORT MIX which I'm assuming is labeled as such on the French 7" single. It was mixed and edited by Francois Kevorkian who was responsible for the US Mixes of "Two Hearts..." and "New Year's Day" on the 12" releases. Upon picking up the remaster of WAR and listening to the bonus disc, I discovered that this EDIT is sourced from the LONG MIX of Two Hearts (which only appreared on a promo 12"). It's the exact same mix - just chopped down to under 4 minutes. They probably did not include this on the reissue because of redundancy (not that there isn't any to go around with New Year's Day!) This is a nice alternative to the LP version... even if the vocal echo at the end gets a little excessive.
