Panasonic GH-1 with 14-140mm lens at 2x digital zoom and continuous autofocus.

The bullant is an aggressive large ant that can cause a painful sting which in people with allergies may even cause death.

The bullant belongs to the ant genus Myrmecia which only exist in Australia (apart from a rare New Caledonian species).

This hand held video is unedited, shot as 720p motion jpeg in low light and was in Long Forest, Victoria after a thunderstorm - hence the rain drops you can here.

  • I love the footage! Looks pretty crisp and clear! Am happy you put what cam and lens you used as well!

Wish my footage looked this clear when I was recording the Myrmecia queens I found

How much did that cost all up? The Lens and Cam together? Message me please! Thanks

  • @Dr4ke1337 The Panasonic GH-1 with 14-140mm lens is about $US1499
