RAW SEWAGE dumped into our waterways- Supervisor Heyman FAILS to WARN PUBLIC

This video shows exactly how Monroe County Clean Water dumps raw sewage mixed with rain water directly into Irondequoit creek that feeds Irondequoit Bay. This concrete facility is located at the end of Tryon Pk road and only 200 yards down the hill. This sewage release facility has a permit displayed at the site showing that they have a right to release raw Black Water sewage down a valley and directly into Irondequoit creek. The Raw Black Water sewage that mixes with rain water consists of human fecal matter, urine, blood, tampons, condoms, toilet paper, and needles. Other dangerous liquids and Toxic waste such as oil, gasoline, pesticides, and other liquids are poured down the drains and the sewers of many homes, rather that disposing of them properly at the hazardous waste collection sites around Monroe County.
After heavy rains the Sewage Treatment Plant at Van Lear reaches capacity and closes the incoming pipes to the facility. As a result the sewage and rain water mixed together start to overload the main sewer system and the County makes the decision to dump raw black water sewage into many different tributaries into Irondequoit Bay and the Genesee River.
The County then claims that the bacteria count is high and closes the beaches to the public. In reality there are millions of gallons of raw untreated sewage flowing into the bodies of water off Charlotte Beach, Durand Beach, Webster, and Irondequoit Bay just to name a few.
Why did the County and Mary Ellen Heyman keep this health hazard hidden from the public and why weren't we warned about the actual dumping of Raw Sewage? It is an insult to every resident of Monroe County and a disgrace in this year of 2009.
