@HipsterKiller Chris Farley wasn't really in THAT many sketches, but they WERE funny... But there's been plenty of just as funny people, too. And they've always reached for celebrity hosts. Their first host ever, was George Carlin.

This is one of the best episodes in history. Everyone knows it. That is why they brought back Tina Fey, Molly Shannon, and so many other great - past SNL members. This went down in history, so regardless of bias, and opinion, this is one of the best.

@gautierstephen what are you talking about? The show was brilliant. Betty White did an amazing job, and I haven't laughed this hard for any SNL show for a long, long time. It irritates me to see the hosts reading off of the cue cards so obviously, and Betty at 88 was a pro, and she said many times how nervous she was to do the show. Her monologue started the show off in great laughs, and I think the writers wrote perfect sketches for her. That's her personality, so I don't get your point.

I love kristen wiig Im also glad fred armisen mentioned that "I said we" character because that one always cracks me up.
The betty white episode was probably the best episode in a long time imo
