  • For Windows you can use IP Messenger it is the similar to the Giver & Drop copy

    Linux is free. Free OS, free updates, free everything. Therefore it is assumed, by the big companies, that Linux users will expect their software for Linux to be free, too. Photoshop & Artisteer's CEOs were the first to say they consider making a Linux version but they would rather make a Mac because Mac users PAY. (Do not believe the word of this random stranger, just do your own homework and you will see for yourself.)

    I stick to Linux.

  • Dropbox can send locally over the network (making local transfers faster) whilst also uploading to the server

  • i remember msn 7 or 6 .. when you send from one user to second one ( in same lan) a file goes from one pc to the second one throe the router & don't go to the msn server ...
