The Mockingbird Strikes Again

I put this thing together all last night and a good portion of this early morning. The footage took me two days to get. And the voice over is in pieces. I appologize for the lack of any real talent in getting the voice done, but since my camera doesn't have sound, it was my way of trying to be cool.

Granted, it's a cool video and holds suspension! But let me say this here. I had a mockingbird nest here on our low palm tree and I watched the exhausting dawn-to-sunset flights of the mocking bird couple in and out of the nest in the brutal heat of the day, day by day! I too have a cat and confined her. Didn't want the birds to use their energy on fighting, but on food gathering for the babies and for themselves. I also gave them a birdbath which they used for refreshing. I feel good about it.

i did really knew this video excisted because i was actually looking up To Kill a Mockingbird. but i found this vid on the way to search.

at the beginning i was just thinking like wat the hell is this?! until it got to about 2 mins

Bahaha! It's always fun to see a cat have its arse kicked by birds.

Yeah that kind of thing used to happen to my cat. We had a nest on our roof. A couple of mockingbirds would coordinate an attack on the cat, who put up a good fight usually before retreating back into the house. I remember the day I found one dead in the backyard. I suppose kitty had her vengeance after all...

lol, what a "pussy" ^^, really some nice footage, i thought the cat would wait for them to get overconfident and then go for it, i read that mocking birds cooperate to fence of birds of prey but a cat? must have been some female mocking birds watching ^^
