We all have our beliefs as to what can happen. I personally do not believe the time has come. Although I question the reason why people are so hell bent on trying to figure it out. Hell, revelations has not yet been figured out. Once again it depends on who gives an opinion.
It is what it is. We certainly can't change it. History repeats itself. I don't think the end of the world will come until the temple is built in Jerusalem. Just my opinion.

@PureHeavenlySultan It has a lot to do with 2012. The reason humankind goes through period cycles of destruction and annihilation (as we see with previous prehistoric civilizations), is because human morality declines to a very low point. Persecution of Truth, Compassion, Forbearance is a manifestation of such a decline. Not caring about the atrocities happening to people on our planet is in itself a manifestation of moral decline. Just food for thought.
