ive made mty kimchi for the 1st time as well (also thanks to maangchi!!!!) and hopefully tomorrow or the day after i can taste it. fingers crossed! and no, im not korean either but i love korean and japanese food bc of they are very healthy.

Hey, I'd like to know, what did u do to the cabbage after sprinkling salt? Do you soak them in salt water? or just leave them aside?
If you soaked them in salt water, then how much salt in how much water for one cabbage?

I just leave aside after generously salting . The water part is only to rinse off salt after they have sat for the time required (see video)

You are right !! but back when I made this I had windows ME !! and I did not how to use moviemaker or the camera !! and I was my own camera man ---I think it came out ok with what I had . He he
