People on the bridge were ok. Tractor trailer on the bridge was flipped over, driver unhurt. 2 fatalities in town(west springfield). 1 woman in a house that collapsed, and a man whose car was struck by a tree. Missed my house by 100 yards...watched it from my back porch. Community is devastated...as are the communites os Springfield,Westfield,Monson,B
rimfield and others.....a sad day -
At times on the way back home from our long trip I just had a feeling that we were to take different roads home. When I heard about this I was just so thank full that I did not make my hubby go down to Springfield on through. My prays are with all the people that were there.

Very interesting perspective on that river. Never seen one go through a town and down a river from this angle.

Incredible view! Never have seen the inflow pattern any better than here.
I wonder what happened with the people on that bridge. Hopefully they all survived.
