I don't self harm for attention I am very depressed and I hav been for a while. Long story but the news makes me feel like now if I tell any1 they will b like o u just want attention which is not at all why I self harm. Some1 needs to set those news people straight.

I try to find tips on youtube about self injury (not how to do it of corse) and some of the videos i come across are very triggering for me. idranktheseawater and xsullengirlx have helpful tips in their videos and they aren't triggering to me. Videos that show scars and open wounds are very very triggering for me

I don't know about you, but here in Europe, the Media
shows the people information, and let the people judge themselves,
So if a US newspaper says ''It is a new negative trend where
younglins CUT themselves.'' It would be, here in EU; ''Statistics shows
that some teenagers, and young adults self-hurt. We have talked to a woman/man
that has done this, and you can see the interview on the next page.''
