Thousands of passengers faced massive delays after a Dhaka-bound aircraft aborted takeoff early yesterday due to a technical glitch, closing Dubai airport for eight hours.

Twenty-seven passengers sustained minor injuries in the incident, which also caused cancellations and diversions of flights to and from the busy hub.

he risked his life alright, their safety record is appalling! good job evacuating though :-)

Yes I'm damn proud of him. He risked his life at as high as 40,000 feet almost every day and night just to bring food to our table. Never complained about his job, never had a beef with anyone at his workplace.

no. why would he? But in 1994 in a BG Air Fokker F28 emergency crash landing, he successfully handled the situation and evacuated all passangers in 35 seconds. Got a promotion for the effort!

My father worked as a chief purser of this airlines (Biman bangladesh airlines) for 35 years :)
