*Your Guardian Angel ~ A Jemi Story* Episode 13

Joe: *laughs and lets her pull him along*
*2.5 hours later*
*all four of them are sitting on the couch laughing and talking*
Nick: Come on Demi. Ill show you how to play that riff.
Demi: *smiles* Thanks. Well be right back. *they get up and leave*
Kevin: So Joe...
Joe: Oh no, not that tone.
Kevin: Oh yes, that tone. So...
Joe: What?!
Kevin: *raises his eyebrow*
Joe: *sighs* I dont know.
Kevin: Come on! Your the one who wouldnt stop until you were best friends. Now your having second thoughts?!
Joe: No! Its just...
Kevin: What?
Joe: *hesitates* She says she feels like our sister. I mean she does feel like part of the family but...
Kevin: So what? She probably just doesnt think you like her. You do like her dont you?
Joe: I think I love her Kevin.
Kevin: *grins* I know you do. So tell her.
Joe: This is really really awkward.
Kevin: Yeah...
*with nick and demi*
Demi: thanks for showing me NIck. That riff has been bugging me for ages. *starts walking out the door*
Nick: *grabs Demis arm* Wait. I need to talk to you.
Demi: Ok, waht about? *Sits back down*
Nick: *Stands in front of her*
Demi: Nick... your not about to propose are you?
Nick: *laughs* No.
Demi: *laughs* Good. What would Selena say?
Nick: *blushes* Were not talking about *my* love life right now.
Demi: Then whose are we going to talk about. I dont have a love life. *she smiles* So you DO love Selena!
Nick: Yes, but dont tell her! And thats not the point. Im trying to talk to you about Joe.
Demi: Oh... what about Joe?
Nick: Do you love him?
Demi: What?
Nick: I know you do. And I know he loves you. Im just not sure you know that you love him or know that he doesnt know that you love him and that he loves you.
Demi: *sort of shocked* ....Huh!?
Nick: *sits down next to demi* Come on Demi. Just Come right out and say it. You can trust me. You wont tell Sel I love her and I wont tell joe.
Demi: Woah, wait now. How do you know i love joe or not?
Nick: Its obvious. No offense. but you guys are inseperable.
Demi: *silent for a minute* Do you know he loves me?
Nick: He hasnt told me, but yeah I know. Just by watching you guys I know.
Demi: I do.
Nick: know he loves you?
Demi: no. I love him.
Nick: Ok. Good. Come on Kevin has to leave soon.
Demi: *laughs* Thats it?
Nick: Yeah. I know you guysll work the rest out between you. Now come on.
Demi: Ok. And Nick? Thanks.
Nick: Dont mention it.
*they go back*
Kevin: *gets up* Well Id better be off.
Demi: *goes over to him and hugs him* Well miss you.
Kevin: *grins* I know. *he goes and hugs Nick and Joe* But Hey, Ill be back in a few weeks*
Nick: Say hi to Danielle for me!
Kevin: *going out the door* I will!
Joe: Go get your woman back man!!
Kevin: *rolls his eyes, smiles, and leaves*
Demi: What? Whose Danielle?
Nick: *his cell goes off* Oh its sel. I Gotta take this. *He leaves*
*theres an awkward silence between Demi and Joe*
Joe: So... you wanna grab your guitar and go?
Demi: Sure... Ill... Go get it now and meet you back here?
Joe: Ok.
*in a few minutes there in the car driving*
Demi: So are you going to tell me about Danielle?
Joe: *sighs* Its complicated
Demi: how so?
Joe: *looks at her then back at the road* They were dating.
Demi: oh, Obviously
Joe: *smiles* I havent even started the story and your cutting me off.
Demi: Sorry, go on.
Joe: They were dating, there were complications, they broke up, we moved.
Demi: Wow Joe, good story. Tell me everything!
Joe: *stops the care* Were here.
Demi: *sighs and gets out of the car and walks around to stand in front of Joe. She crosses her arms and looks up at him* Tell me.
Joe: No
Demi: Why not?
Joe: *cant take his eyes off her face. He moves closer to her* Because.
Demi: Because why? Really Joe why cant you just tell me, its not like the world is going to end if-
Joe: *covers her mouth with his hand and smiles* There you go again.
Demi: *grabs Joes hand and pulls it from her mouth*
Joe: *before she can pull away he takes a hold on her hand and leans closer to her face*
Demi: *looks up at him, and stumbles over her words* As I was saying, um, you really have no... good reason why... we shouldnt be talking about... this....
Joe: *smiles* I think I have a pretty good excuse. *he kisses her*
