Green Mountain Railroad GP9R switches around to the opposite end of the train at Manchester, Vermont before making its return trip back to North Bennington, Vermont. This particular train is known as the "Vermont Valley Flyer" and is one of several excursion trains running throughout Vermont which is operated by the Green Mountain Railroad. Formerly numbered 1851, this locomotive was renumbered 804 after the railroad was joined to the Vermont Rail System in June, 1997.
