Introduction: Acronyms language, the most used language in near future? ;-)

What Acronyms mean, you wonder? It means "abbreviations that are formed using the initial components in a phrase or name." - such as LOL, ROTFL, IDK, etc. So the question is.. will it be popular "language" in near future?

I sure hope the future won’t use acronyms because I can barely understand the modern Internet language and the new dig for the teens. =). By the way, the symbol of smiley face is the actual proof that I am smiling right now but not laughting out loud (LOL). =)

@89wicky LOL.. believe it or not, I actually LOL'd!! ;-) I like acronyms when it comes to texting/IM - it's easier to type online to make it short and sweet. But saying it in person or in video? I would never understand why, ha ha.

I can't stand when people use text speak. Its fine when you are actually sending text or chatting online. People sound like idiots when they say something like LOL or OMG when speaking or signing for that matter.
