I am a fan of "Green Onions" and I think the kids did a GREAT JOB! It's like they channeled the original band. Great job guys!
I know the drums sounded loud, but I could tell he wasn't beating them hard, it must've just been where the recording equipment was set up. No biggie. Great job EVERYONE!

You should get the kids a Kalamazoo organ! Props if you've heard of one!

@whatistheretotype Hey! You can still find them all over ebay, and craigslist, and if you're real lucky, a thrift store!

that was so great to see and hear, I applaud all that were involved for chosing such a landmark tune. Dont let "rap" ever get in your way.

Would of been better if it was a Hammond B3

OMG!!! WHERE THE HELL DID YOU GET A 200A? THEY DON'T EVEN MAKE THEM ANYMORE!!!!!!

Lucky Kids with a Wurly AND A FARFISA!
Great but I think the bass & drums didn't keep up a very tight rythmn for the kids to groove to. Why not teach some of the kids to play bass and drums?

@HunterMann This was 3 yrs. ago. They are now The Kalamazoo Academy of Rock and are playing all the instruments. Check out our vids!

@buddyeagle We used a Farfisa organ and a Wurlitzer 200 electric piano. Thanx for watching!

These kids are lucky....they didn't have a music teacher pushing classical crap down your throat. Playing music like this at such a young age makes it fun and they'll probably stick to playing the keyboards when they get older.
