  • @rankingtrevor this film was writen and directed by the super gary oldman, its based on oldmans life growing up in southeast london....fantastic writing by gary and fantastic acting by ray

  • It is one of the best scenes in the whole movie along with the domestic abuse scene. Ray's character actually explains WHY he is a monster, his own fathers failure to be there for him. I found myself having an ounce of sympathy for him. Ray Winestone is a brilliant actor, one of the few last terrific cockney screen actors in the UK scene.
