@Jeeperman100 No it's not as good as far as reef, but there's way more fish :D

1.Houses are quite cheap there as long as your not right on the beach. Can get a nice house with a pool for like 60k? Rent can be like 500 everything included, on the beach.
2 If you got a license and are visiting you are allowed to drive but only for a 1-3 month I think
3. Jaco beach is pretty popular for its nightlife and has plenty of clubs/bars. San Jose also has plenty of clubs/bars.
4. National parks, ziplineing ,surfing. Most of the things to do in CR are nature oriented.

i remember driving at night through the coasline in guanacaste. it was like being in space, you could see all the stars....such a great summer night!

get a car for sure to venture out. we spent half a day near arenal, that was enough because the volcano is covered in fog 90% of the time

hey,help me out..im going in a few weeks bymyself since all my friends are broke..im not sure if i want to spend my 7 days at a nice hotel in the arenal volcanoe region and just chill or if i want to rent a car and spend a few nights here a few nights there..im going to enjoy the sights..not to party that much..i do that enough here in FL...

3. Night life is pretty good, there was one bar that was rediculously overpriced for a little concert they had ($35) We didnt go. otherwise, the night life is pretty fun, atleast with a big group of friends.
4. Zip line, white water rafting, volcanoes(hrs away from congo bongo), dancing, good eating

Nice. I go to live there for months at a time for the surfing. Awesome place with great nature. People are always friendly to me there to. Where did you go for the scuba/snorkel? The Carib side?

We scuba'd on the carib side. the pacific is no good for scuba, or so I have been told.

nothing but a bunch of fukin ugly americans...college or not - no respect. unfortunately the centro americans need their daddies dollars so they can piss in the rivers and step on the local coral with their bud lites

@jazzer26 Ugly, I'll give ya that. At least a few of us, and yourself? Good Looking? You a ollege graduate? And daddies dollars... Unfortunate I suppose that I make more money than my dad thank you very much. Bud Light? Hardly. I prefer a good heavy irish stout on nitro tap thanks.
