As a black man, I applaud the nearly 40% of white voters who cast their destiny with the Democrats. You reject the hateful, anti-woman, anti-immigrant, anti-progress that is the modern GOP. But please don't count out the GOP. Like reptiles, they can remain dormant only to emerge thriving in difficult/challenging environments, like war. Enjoy our victory but remain vigilant against the entrenched GOP. They are hunkered down waiting to exploit racial/economic/historical divides.
