  • @thomaserossi You referred to his consideration of the concept of blowback as a "cult" that isn't foreign policy - despite the number of ex-CIA and ex-military that are supporting him based on that concept. How is that not misrepresentation?

  • If only I could of had Thomas Sowell as a teacher when I was in school. Agree with him or not, he has a way of getting people to think for themselves. He is a true treasure.

  • @darwinkilledgod If you believe in the right wing ideology you don't generalize, just because "some" people respect Hannity, it does not mean all do, remember that you must believe in the individual and not the collective mind set.

  • Funny how people think that by the government passing so stupid laws it can some how violate all the laws of economics.

  • @darwinkilledgod Hannity is a neocon phony, he doesn't represent anything libertarian or even really conservative by the classical definition.

  • Funny how people cling to the failed notion that politics can fix or change anything

  • @Simetra007 why would he want to do that? Becoming a politician would be to deny everything he believes in.

  • I think that Thomas Sowell would make a fantastic running mate, for Ron Paul. What do you think?

  • simply amazing

  • @darwinkilledgod Welcome to the void.

  • It's true, public schools teach us WHATt to think instead of How to think.

  • @2ProtectnEntertain I began a rapid transition from left-wing college student to right-wing professor that was immediately halted when I realized that the right respects Sean Hannity. That man is a mindless cheerleader with no understanding of the principles he thinks he advocates. I got stuck somewhere in libertarian land...

  • I wish this was shown to every college student at the beginning of every semester. Then maybe we would not be graduating students who know what to say in a PC society as opposed to how to think for themselves.

  • Thomas Sowell says more in a single paragraph than most will say in a lifetime. It's amazing to me that a man like this is not in the white house and that instead we elect charlatans like the man occupying the oval office right now. Is that a waterfall I hear up ahead?

  • @2ProtectnEntertain - Oh no! I sound like a guy I've only seen once! How is this possible? Because a Ron Paul Cultists saw their leader attacked by Hannity during the 08 primaries? This is why people are feeling that Ron Paul supporters are Cultists. You're so stupid to think that I sound anything like Hannity. You're actually stupid. Your exuberance for Ron Paul has made you stupid. I'm not "misrepresenting his POV" at all. I belong to C4L. I've read Ron's work. I KNOW his POV assclown.

  • @2ProtectnEntertain - The Cult of Blowback isn't foreign policy. It's the delusion that Muslims hate us because we're "over there." That's not "foreign policy." That's a complete ignorance of the past 14 Centuries. If an Arab opened a Mc Donald's Franchise in Saudia Arabia we'd be "over there" as far as Muslims are concerned. That isn't "fundamentalism" in the least, that's just Sharia.

  • No wonder leftists flock our universities and schools, they are taught what to think from the systematically indoctrination from only one political point of view. It´s not very odd then that most who vote "left" or "liberal" are mostly young people with little experience in life and in the workforce. They tend to think with their heart rather than with their head.

  • Wow that was awsome , very cool

  • @InternetDisciple This is because the fundamental flaw of human nature is that for everyone Freedom isn't enough without some level of Security. Conservatives look to themselves for that Security; Leftists look to government for a variety of reasons, but one of them is that they are impressed with govt. power. They see govt. win wars, build roads, lock people up, send people into space and believe that power can be applied to solve their poverty.

  • @2ProtectnEntertain I am not sure about that. Sowell does have some foreign policy differences with Paul, but I am sure he would prefer Paul over any other potential candidate. Even Ann Coulter, the ultimate neocon, has hinted at supporting Paul. Has Sowell ever commented on Ron Paul that you know of?

  • This man reminds me somewhat of Morgan from Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri.

  • I can't believe how many on the left are calling for a dictatorship here in the states.

I know of none on the right that are calling for a dictatorship.

  • @2ProtectnEntertain - That's because Thomas Sowell is intelligent enough to understand Islam. Ron Paul is the leader of the Cult of Blowback.

  • "This [Constitution] is likely to be well administered for a course of years, and can only end in despotism, as other forms have done before it, when the people shall become so corrupted as to need despotic government, being incapable of any other."

    - Benjamin Franklin

  • … I propose in the following discussion to call one’s own labor and the equivalent exchange of one’s own labor for the labor of others, the “economic means” for the satisfaction of needs, while the unrequited appropriation of the labor of others will be called the “political means.”

    -- Franz Oppenheimer
